Poor indoor air-quality (IAQ) can be detrimental to the health and safety of your family and pets. Poor IAQ can be the result of mold/bacteria, carbon monoxide, and other harmful pollutants, etc. These can be found within the home’s HVAC system, vents, carpet, kitchens, interiors, bathrooms, and places that may have experienced a moisture problem (leak, intrusion, etc). A Mold Assessment can identify potential harmful contaminants.

What Is Mold Assessment?
Mold assessment is the process of identifying, evaluating, and documenting the presence, extent, and type of mold in a building or structure. It is typically performed by a certified mold inspector or industrial hygienist who has specialized training and equipment to detect and measure the presence of mold.
The assessment include a visual inspection of the property, sampling of air, surfaces or bulk materials, and laboratory analysis of the samples collected. The goal of the assessment is to determine if there is a mold problem, the extent of the problem, and the potential health risks associated with the mold.
Mold assessment is important because exposure to mold can lead to a variety of health problems, such as respiratory issues, allergies, and infections. By identifying and addressing mold issues early, it is possible to prevent further damage to the property and protect the health of those who occupy it.
